Meet Brett Lewis

For many event organisers, the technology is only part of the decision. What really matters is having somebody on-site who understands sailing, understands race management, and understands what makes a successful event.

TracTracUK is run by Brett Lewis, one of the UK's most experienced sailing tracking operators, delivering live GPS tracking, race analysis and event support across youth, dinghy, keelboat and offshore sailing.

Unlike many technology providers, Brett is not simply supplying hardware and software. He is an active member of the sailing community, regularly working alongside race officials, class associations, coaches, safety teams and volunteers to ensure events run smoothly both on and off the water.

Brett currently serves on the ILCA UK Committee as Safety Officer and is actively involved in supporting major sailing events throughout the UK. He is an RYA Powerboat Instructor, an experienced RYA Mark Layer, and regularly works within race management, safety and event operations teams at national and international regattas. This practical, on-the-water experience provides a unique perspective when deploying tracking systems, ensuring they genuinely support race officials, safety teams, coaches and sailors.
